Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Ayam Petelur Menggunakan Metode SAW

Selecting the right type of laying hen is crucial to increase the productivity of the Karangasem Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) farm. The manual assessment process tends to be subjective, necessitating a Decision Support System using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This study used the criteria of egg productivity, chicken health, feed consumption, endurance, environmental adaptation, egg quality, and chicken mortality rate with alternative breeds Brown, KUB, Leghorn, Lohmann Brown, Hy-Line, and Elba. The website-based system was built using PHP and MySQL. The results showed that the SAW method was able to provide objective assessment and ranking, with Elba chickens obtaining the highest score of 0.9671, thus being recommended as the best type of laying hen.
