About the Journal

HAKIM Journal is an open access and peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Department of Law under the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer.
The journal is committed to serving as a scientific platform for the dissemination of high-quality research articles, conceptual studies, theoretical analyses, and empirical investigations in the fields of law and social sciences. Through its publications, HAKIM seeks to advance legal scholarship and promote the development of legal practice in Indonesia in response to evolving social, cultural, and technological challenges.

HAKIM: Journal of Law and Social Sciences welcomes submissions in the form of original research articles, critical literature reviews, and conceptual papers that are relevant to the journal's scope.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to HAKIM: Journal of Law and Social Sciences undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, scientific integrity, and editorial objectivity.
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to maintain fairness, impartiality, and confidentiality.
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into consideration the reviewers' recommendations and the manuscript's scholarly merit.
Publication Frequency
HAKIM: Journal of Law and Social Sciences is published quarterly, with four issues released each year in February, May, August, and November.

HAKIM: Journal of Law and Social Sciences is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription fees or access restrictions.
