Update Article Processing Charge (APC)
Jurnal HAKIM: Jurnal HAKIM: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum dan Sosial does not charge any submission fee (Submission Fee: IDR 0).
However, for accepted manuscripts, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied under the following structure:
Up to the August 2026 Issue:
- IDR 100,000
Effective from the August 2026 Issue onwards:
- IDR 250,000
This fee is used to support:
- Editorial processing and manuscript management,
- Copyediting and layout preparation,
- Maintenance of the OJS platform and digital archiving,
- And the sustainability of open-access publication.
Manuscripts published in the August 2026 issue and subsequent issues will be subject to the revised APC.
Manuscripts published in earlier issues will remain subject to the previous APC structure.
Jurnal HAKIM provides partial or full APC waivers for authors who meet certain criteria, including:
- Authors from institutions with limited funding,
- Manuscripts derived from community service, student research, or internally funded activities,
- Authors demonstrating justified financial constraints.
Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of submission or prior to publication, accompanied by supporting documents.
Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on editorial recommendations and do not influence the peer-review process or acceptance decision.
