Archiving Policy

International Journal of Graphic Design (IJGD) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of all its published content. To achieve this, IJGD employs multiple digital preservation strategies through recognized archiving services.

The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides a globally distributed system of preservation to safeguard journal content in multiple locations worldwide. In addition, IJGD supports both the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems. These initiatives work with a network of libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Through these preservation mechanisms, IJGD guarantees that all published articles will remain available to the scholarly community, even in the event that the journal ceases publication or its website becomes unavailable. This ensures that research disseminated through IJGD continues to contribute to academic and professional practice in visual communication design and related fields on a permanent basis.
