Publication Fee
The International Journal of Graphic Design (IJGD) does not charge any submission or initial processing fees. However, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication. The applicable APC is determined based on the issue in which the manuscript is published, as outlined below:
For the April 2026 Issue:
- USD 25 for international authors
- IDR 250,000 for Indonesian authors
Effective for the October 2026 Issue and subsequent issues:
- USD 50 for international authors
- IDR 550,000 for Indonesian authors
The journal maintains full transparency regarding APC implementation. Manuscripts submitted and published in the April 2026 issue will be subject to the previous APC rates. Manuscripts assigned to and published in the October 2026 issue and subsequent issues will be subject to the revised APC rates.
IJGD is an open-access journal. All published articles are freely available to readers without subscription or access fees.
Waiver Policy
IJGD offers partial or full waivers of APCs for authors who meet the following criteria:
- Authors affiliated with institutions located in low-income or lower-middle-income countries, as classified by the World Bank; or
- Authors who demonstrate financial constraints and formally request a waiver during the submission process.
All waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission. Waiver decisions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are made independently of the editorial and peer-review process. The granting or rejection of a waiver has no influence on the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.
