Policy of Screening of Plagiarism

KOMPAK: Jurnal Ilmiah Komputerisasi Akuntansi is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening prior to the peer-review process.

The journal uses plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin) to evaluate the originality of submitted manuscripts. A manuscript will proceed to the peer-review stage only if the similarity index does not exceed 25%, excluding references, quotations, and properly cited sources.

Manuscripts with a similarity index above this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision, clarification, or rejection if significant overlap with previously published works is identified. The editorial team carefully examines the similarity report to distinguish legitimate citations from potential plagiarism.

KOMPAK strictly adheres to the ethical standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all authors to submit original work that has not been published elsewhere.
